WHO HAS JOINED THE POD?

MEET THE HOST

Chris Schnabel

Chris Schnabel is a storyteller, director, and producer with a mission: to shine light on the unsung heroes behind today’s most compelling creative journeys. Launching Mad Props in 2020, Chris built the podcast as a platform for authentic conversations with accomplished but often overlooked talents—from musicians and creators to athletes and industry pioneers.

An Emmy‑caliber video producer and University of New Haven ('15) and Gonzaga University ('22) alum, Chris has directed and produced award‑nominated shorts (like DJ Gurule: Rebuilding a Culture) and launched multiple media projects including Off Stage and Sketching Up.

His work has partnered him with high‑profile organizations such as the Boston Red Sox, USTA, Gonzaga Athletics, Harvard, and professional sports franchises FilmFreeway.

What makes Chris stand out is his unwavering commitment to quality and his willingness to tackle the big lift behind the scenes: planning, booking guests, filming, editing, designing, and promoting—week after week—even when the process gets tough.

His dedication paid off: Mad Props now reaches a growing audience across YouTube and all major podcast platforms, and is co‑hosted by Hannah Robertson, adding new perspectives and energy to the show.

Through Mad Props, Chris offers listeners a front‑row seat to honest, candid, and often surprising conversations—celebrating the hustle, honor, and heart that drive success. Whether talking to an indie artist, a Broadway star, or a creator changing the game, Chris puts in the work so others can receive their props—loud and clear.
